The Chief Adjudicators, with the assistance of Paul Lau, have been working out the system which will be used for determining the draw for the preliminary rounds at WSDC 2015.
The attached documents contain:
- The team rankings which will be used for seeding the draw for 2015 (based on the performance of each nation’s team in the preliminary rounds over the previous 3 years)
- The draw grid for how each team will be paired up against other teams over the preliminary rounds after the draw is conducted
- A detailed explanation of how the draw system for 2015 has been created written by Paul Lau
Before the draw is conducted and finalised, we would like to ask all nations to have a look at the attached documents and let us know if you think there is anything in any of the documents which needs to be corrected.

The WSDC Rules require the draw to be released at least 2 weeks before preliminary round 1 (i.e. by 14th July). However if it is possible for the draw to be finalised sooner than that, we may release the draw slightly earlier 14th July.
