The draw for the preliminary rounds of the 2015 World Schools Debating Championships in Singapore has been completed by the Chief Adjudicators.
There are 53 participating nations. Since this is an odd number, only 52 teams will debate in each of the 8 rounds. 8 teams (drawn at random) will not debate in one of the rounds will make up for this by debating in the Bye-Round (or ‘Round Zero’). The Bye-Round will be held on Saturday 1st August (in between Round Six on the Friday and Round Seven on the Sunday).
